According to Fox Tv U.S. military analyst Jack Keane has argued that continued pressure on Iran should combine military action, economic restrictions, and intelligence operations aimed at accelerating both economic and political instability within the country.
In his remarks, Keane suggested that economic pressure alone may not be sufficient to change Iran’s governing structure, insisting instead that a broader and more aggressive strategy may be required to achieve long-term objectives.
“That is why we must go back to combat operations and maintain the blockade and use our intelligence services to undermine this regime so it does not just suffer economic collapse, but political collapse as well,” he said.
Keane’s comments reflect a view that multiple layers of pressure—military, economic, and intelligence-based—should work in parallel to weaken Iran’s governing system. He emphasized that sustaining a blockade while resuming combat operations would intensify pressure on Tehran’s leadership, while intelligence activities could further destabilize internal political cohesion.
