The naira traded at different rates against the United States dollar across Nigeria’s official and parallel foreign exchange markets on Saturday, November 7, 2026.
Available exchange rate figures showed that the dollar exchanged at approximately ₦1,346.79 at the official market.
In the parallel market, popularly known as the black market, the dollar was quoted at about ₦1,411.67 for buying and ₦1,419 for selling.
The figures indicate a difference between the official and parallel market rates, reflecting the varying prices at which the foreign currency is traded across the two markets.
However, exchange rates in the parallel market may differ depending on the location, demand for dollars and individual currency dealers.
The exchange rate remains important to Nigerians, particularly businesses, importers, travellers and individuals who rely on foreign currency for international transactions.
