Big Brother Naija Season 11 winner, Temi Nkem, has revealed plans to invest a substantial portion of her prize money and return to university to complete her degree.
Temi disclosed this in an exclusive interview with TVC News Online after emerging winner of the reality show, saying she intends to secure her financial future while pursuing a career in finance.
“I’m going to be investing a large sum of the money, because I need to invest in my future. Guys, I’m only 21. We need to invest our money,” she said.
The BBNaija winner also said she plans to complete her university education, noting that she hopes to pursue a programme related to treasury and finance.
“I still need to go back to school to finish my degree, my diploma, the degree, yeah, whatever,” Temi said.
She added that her long-term plans include working in finance, saying viewers could eventually know her as “Temi the treasurer” or “Temi Miss Treasury.”
Reflecting on her victory, Temi said she was overwhelmed by the outcome and expressed gratitude to her supporters, whom she identified as the “Temulators.”
“Honestly, I feel very overwhelmed. I cannot believe this, honestly. I want to say thank you to all of my Terminators, to God, to everybody who supported me on this journey,” she said.
Temi also admitted that she had doubted her appeal to viewers before eventually winning the show.

“I thought I was boring, but I guess 25% of you guys didn’t think so,” she said.
She identified winning the BET Power Friday Arena Games as one of the moments from her time in the house that she would gladly relive.
“I thought I was there for fun. And all of a sudden, I’m here, I’m winning,” Temi said, recalling the moment she ran towards her supporters after her victory.
The 21-year-old also reflected on the doubts she faced before entering the competition, particularly suggestions that contestants who came from abroad rarely won the show.
She said those comments initially made her lower her expectations but ultimately encouraged her to focus on enjoying the experience.
“Still, the show is called Show Yourself. So I might as well still show myself. So that’s what I did. And guess what? I still won,” she said.
Temi urged her supporters to pursue their ambitions with determination, encouraging them to “do whatever you want to do” and continue working towards their goals.
Meanwhile, former housemate Yusuf Muhammad-Awal described his experience on the show as “beautiful”, while revealing plans to return to acting, writing, public speaking and farming.
“Before going into the house, I was an actor. So expect me to go and dominate the world of acting,” Yusuf said.
He also disclosed that he operates an integrated fish farm in Abuja and another farm in Kogi State, where he grows cassava, yam and potatoes.
“I was born into a farm. I studied agric,” he said, adding that he intends to return to farming and explore new opportunities.
Yusuf also acknowledged that he had several confrontations during his time in the house, saying there were moments when he “went out of character with people.”
Former contestant Araga, whose real name is Oluwaseyifunmi Sosanya, described his time on the show as a mixture of “ups and down”, admitting that he “lost myself at one point.”
He said he was nevertheless happy to be outside the house and grateful for the opportunity provided by the reality show.
“I’m happy to be outside. Shoutout to Big Brother for the platform,” Araga said.
He added that he would particularly miss fellow housemate Temi.
“I’ll particularly miss Temi. When I was out, I missed her so much,” he said.
Ricky, another former contestant, said his time on the show was an “amazing journey” and an experience he would cherish.
He said he particularly enjoyed interacting with fellow housemates and participating in the parties, while also clarifying his relationship with Shiva.
“She is my friend. We decided to be friends,” Ricky said, adding that he considers himself “a flirt naturally.”
Looking ahead, Ricky said he plans to return to filmmaking projects he had put on hold before entering the house.
He expressed ambitions to become one of the world’s leading filmmakers and contribute to the growth of African cinema.
“I plan on being one of the greatest filmmakers that this earth has ever seen and I want to also revolutionize the African movie industry,” he said.
