The development has sparked congratulatory messages from fellow artistes, music producers and fans, with several of his longtime associates celebrating the milestone.

Lord of Ajasa is regarded as one of the pioneers of indigenous Yoruba rap in Nigeria, having helped popularise the genre in mainstream music before the emergence of artistes such as Dagrin, Olamide and Reminisce.

He gained recognition with songs including “Le Fenu So,” “Esha Lo Bade” and “Mai Lo,” which remain associated with the early development of Yoruba hip-hop and the Coded Tunes era.
