Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has said no survivor has been found following the Nigerian Air Force aircraft crash in Igbokoda, Ondo State.
Aiyedatiwa made the disclosure on Wednesday after visiting the crash site alongside personnel of the Nigerian Navy, Air Force, divers and emergency management officials involved in the ongoing recovery operation.

“Unfortunately, there is no single survivor in that aircraft as we speak today,” the governor said.
He said the recovery operation had involved the Navy, Air Force, divers, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the Ondo State Emergency Management Agency and local residents.
“I visited the site with the men of the Navy and the Air Force and some other divers that are outside working. The NEMA Director for the South-West, the State Emergency Management Agency Director and so many other local residents have been working since Monday on the rescue operation,” he said.
Aiyedatiwa said efforts to locate people aboard the aircraft had so far not produced any survivor.
“Unfortunately, we have not been able to see any living soul that was in that aircraft,” he said.
Recovery operations remain ongoing at the crash site as authorities continue efforts to retrieve those aboard the aircraft and establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
