OPM founder flays xenophobic attacks on Nigerians, tasks FG on urgent repatriation

Founder and General Overseer Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinenye, has condemned xenophobic attacks in South Africa that have led to the deaths of Nigerians and other Africans resident.

King Chibuzor expressed sadness over the menace and called President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to expedite action and repatriate helpless Nigerians back to their country.

“I feel so sad and pained why Nigerians are being killed by South Africans.”

The cleric, who is the crown King of Ikwuorie Ancient Kingdom in Ohanku Ndoki Ukwa East Local Government Abia State, said that Nigerians resident in South Africa are hardworking.

He said some Nigerians built shops and opened businesses where they employed South Africans who they are paying salaries.

“Most Nigerians in South Africa have shops where they employed South Africans.

Many Nigerians have businesses and South Africans are working for them and receive salaries and their without taking their jobs.’’

He faulted the South Africa government over its failure to stop the lingering violence against Nigerians and other African Nationals accusing them of being an accomplice.

The cleric urged the South African government to mandate their security agencies to stop this barbaric act against Nigerians resident in South Africa.

He recalled how Nigeria contributed immensely to assist South Africa when they are facing Apartheid issues.

“When there was a problem in South Africa, when they were facing Apartheid problems, Nigerians contributed money to assist them and now see the way they are killing Nigerians.”

He said MultiChoice and MTN are operating freely and benefiting from Nigeria without hitches.

He urged the Federal Government to stop the operations of MTN and Multi choice and allow it to be managed by Nigerians to serve as a warning to South Africans.

“Look at MultiChoice (DSTV) and MTN, they are benefiting so much from Nigerians and nobody has stopped their operations; I want to urge the Federal government to stop their operations to serve as a warning to South Africans.”

King Chibuzor appealed to the Federal government to use all diplomatic channels to end this attack on Nigerians or repatriate all those who are willing to return to Nigeria by sending an emergency aircraft than leaving them to be killed by South Africans.
