Delta rally clear signal of APC’s impending electoral victory – Party chieftain

BY DEBORAH COKER

An All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain, Dr Tonye Timi, has described the turnout at the party’s 2027 campaign flag-off in Oleh, Delta on Thursday as an unmistakable political message ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

Timi, who is the Secretary, Media and Publicity Committee of Delta APC Campaign Council, said this in a statement on Friday.

He said ‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌that the turn-out represented a compelling demonstration of the Isoko Delta’s political resolve and growing commitment to the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori.

According to him, the impressive mobilisation across Delta sends an unmistakable political message ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“This underscores APC’s expanding grassroots influence and the determination of party leaders, stakeholders and supporters to secure victory for the president, the governor and all party candidates.

“Delta political realignment with the APC is a strategic decision that has positioned the state to deepen its relationship with the Federal Government, attract greater development opportunities and accelerate the delivery of democratic dividends to its people.

“The MORE Agenda of the governor and the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda constitute complementary development frameworks, with enormous potential to advance Delta State’s development aspirations.

“The reported 17,500 beneficiaries of NELFUND in Delta, the proposed Federal Medical Centre in Oleh and the planned dualisation of the Oleh Roundabout–Iyede Road are tangible examples of the opportunities and benefits arising from effective federal-state collaboration,” he stated.

The campaign council media and publicity committee secretary noted that the Delta governor’s leadership style, political inclusiveness and commitment to purposeful governance continued to strengthen confidence in his administration.

“The Isoko political leadership, traditional institutions, party stakeholders, women, youths and other supporters deserve commendation for their impressive show of solidarity and collective commitment to APC’s political aspirations.

“The enthusiasm and political confidence demonstrated at the rally must now be translated into sustained grassroots mobilisation and overwhelming electoral support in 2027.

“It is imperative, therefore, that APC leaders, members and supporters across Delta consolidate this momentum, strengthen party unity and remain focused on the collective mission of delivering victory for Tinubu, the governor and all APC candidates.

Without doubt, the Isoko rally has reinforced the APC’s growing political strength and demonstrated that the road to a decisive victory in 2027 is gaining considerable momentum.

“The message from Isoko is unmistakable: unity, continuity, developmen

t and victory,” Timi said.
