Just Adetoun has defended President Bola Tinubu while questioning Nigerians who remain sceptical about whether the president has changed.
In a statement shared online, Adetoun compared the way some Nigerians accept the testimonies of pastors who openly discuss their troubled pasts with their attitude towards Tinubu.
She pointed out that some pastors tell their congregations that they were once drug lords, drug barons or smokers before giving their lives to Christ, yet their followers accept that they have been transformed.
“Your pastors will say they were drug lords,drug barons, they used to smoke but they have given their lives to Christ.
“Yet you attend their churches every Sunday because they have been transformed but you are waiting him President Tinubu to tell you if he has changed or not,” she said.
Her comments have sparked mixed reactions on X, with some users supporting her argument while others accused her of openly campaigning for Tinubu.
