An elderly man from Edo State has called on Nigerians to carefully consider their choice of candidate ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The man, who described himself as a retired pensioner, expressed concern about the state of the Nigerian economy and urged citizens to vote for what he described as the right person for the presidency.
Speaking on the upcoming election, he threw his support behind former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, whom he referred to as “Obilistic.”
“I’m already a retired pensioner. Every Nigerian should vote for the right man for the job, ‘Obilistic’ Mr Peter Obi. We can’t allow the APC government to continue messing up our economy. In 2027, we must stand our ground and defend our votes“
His comments have added to the growing political conversations ahead of the 2027 presidential election, as Nigerians continue to discuss the country’s economy, leadership and the direction they want the nation to take.
