The finalists emerged from a semi-final Computer-Based Test conducted online on Wednesday, October 7, with 12 schools participating from their respective schools across the state.
The competition is organised by KWIRS in collaboration with the Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development to promote tax education and encourage voluntary tax compliance among young Nigerians.

They will compete for the top prize of N2.5 million at the grand finale in Ilorin on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.
KWIRS said the annual initiative is designed to deepen students’ understanding of taxation and help build a generation that appreciates the importance of tax payment to public services and development.
The semi-final was monitored by members of the KWIRS Tax Club Advocacy Committee and a representative of the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Mrs Aina Bose Eunice.
