  • Nollywood actress Yetunde Barnabas rejected an apology from film critic Ajefunke Kofoshi.
  • The conflict arose from a social media clash between the two.
  • Yetunde accused Ajefunke of bullying her and targeting her career.

Nollywood actress Yetunde Barnabas has rejected an apology from film critic Ajefunke Kofoshi following their recent social media clash.

The actress had earlier called out Ajefunke, accusing the movie critic of repeatedly bullying her and targeting her career. Yetunde also alleged that the critic was being sponsored to discredit her work and personality.

Barnabas, who has built her career through years of hard work and sacrifice, maintained that she would not allow anyone to undermine her achievements or damage the reputation she had worked hard to establish.

In a fresh update, the actress revealed that Ajefunke had reached out to her privately to apologise. However, Yetunde said she would only consider the apology if the film critic made the same apology publicly.

She stressed that she was no longer willing to remain silent or tolerate what she described as bullying, insisting that the matter had gone too far.

Addressing Ajefunke directly, Yetunde wrote:

“Ajefunke, whatever you’re saying in my DM has to go public cause I won’t respond to you there, and I won’t accept any apology from you.

You will learn a big lesson; I won’t sit and let anyone bully me anymore.

Enough is enough, as I stated earlier. I am only a Filmmaker who’s got passion like everyone else; I won’t sit and let you rubbish my personality and my work.

I’m enjoying my vacation; I’ll be back in a jiffy.”
