BENIN CITY — The Edo State Government has appointed Dr. Ojiezele Alimhianga Augustine as the Director-General of the Edo State Roads Fund Board (EDSRFB).
The appointment was approved by the Executive Governor of Edo State, Sen. Monday Okpebholo, and takes immediate effect.
The appointment was contained in a Government Special Announcement dated Oct. 5, 2026, signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq.
According to the announcement, Ojiezele is a financial management professional with over three decades of experience in the Nigerian Public Service.
He has served in various senior accounting and administrative positions, where he acquired experience in public sector financial management and administration.
The government said his experience and professional expertise would contribute to the effective discharge of the mandate of the Edo State Roads Fund Board and the achievement of its objectives.
The EDSRFB is expected to play a key role in the funding and management of road infrastructure in the state.
