In other news…. Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has urged Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu, saying the president is doing well and that citizens are too much in a hurry to see changes.
Anuku made the statement while defending Tinubu’s administration and arguing that the country’s problems predate the current government.
According to him, Nigerians should not place the entire blame for the country’s condition on Tinubu because other administrations governed Nigeria before him.
“Nigerians should be patient with Tinubu cos he’s doing great, we’re too much in a hurry. The country was not spoilt by him, there were people before him, why don’t they go and attack those people? The devil we know is better than the angel we don’t.”
The actor’s remarks have since generated mixed reactions on social media, with some users supporting his position and others arguing that Nigerians have already been patient for too long.
Some also questioned the actor’s reasoning, while others joked about his appearance and previous public controversies.
