Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has stirred reactions online after sharing his views on the extent to which men should be willing to sacrifice for their partners.
The “Wotowoto Seasoning” hitmaker made the statement during a recent episode of the In Motion Podcast, where he described men who are unwilling to make the ultimate sacrifice for their partners as “fools.”
Odumodublvck, who identified himself as a Christian, explained that his belief is rooted in the Bible’s teaching about how husbands should love their wives.
According to the rapper, the Bible instructs Christians to love their wives in the same way Christ loves the Church.
He noted that because Jesus Christ sacrificed His life for the Church, he is also willing to give his life for his partner if necessary.
His comments have since generated reactions, with social media users sharing different opinions about his perspective on love, sacrifice and relationships.

“Any man who can’t die for his woman is foolish. I am a Christian, and Jesus Christ said we should love our wife like Christ loves the Church. And what did Christ do for the Church? He died for the Church.
“I am probably going to die before my wife, in Jesus’ name, because my wife is younger than me. Why should she die before me? It doesn’t make any sense. I should die before my wife. And when I die, it is my wife who will take and distribute my wealth to my children so that there will be no issue. It is my wife that will continue my legacy.”
