The Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) has announced plans to inaugurate its Diaspora Youth Directorate Coordinators in Toronto, Canada, as part of efforts to expand its global network and mobilise Nigerians in the diaspora in support of national development.

According to a statement by its Director of Youth, Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi, the inauguration will take place on Monday, August 10, 2026, at the Ontario Investment and Trade Center in Toronto.

The event will be led by the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Senator Hope Uzodimma, alongside other officials of the organisation.

The group said the inauguration of the Diaspora Arise Platform and Diaspora Youth Directorate Coordinators reflects growing support among Nigerians abroad for President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and his 2027 re-election bid.

It stated that the diaspora youth platform is designed to mobilise young Nigerians across the world to contribute to nation-building through youth leadership, civic engagement and economic transformation, while strengthening ties between the diaspora and national development initiatives.

According to the statement, the initiative aligns with the administration’s commitment to harnessing the skills and expertise of Nigerians abroad for sustainable development and economic growth.

The organisation noted that the newly inaugurated coordinators would receive digital mobilisation tools, including personalised recruitment codes, QR-enabled registration links, mobilisation toolkits and performance-monitoring dashboards to support their activities.

It added that each coordinator is expected to recruit at least 50 verified members within the first 30 days of assuming office as part of the programme’s performance targets.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors said the initiative underscores its commitment to promoting youth participation, good governance, national unity and economic development, while encouraging Nigerian youths at home and in the diaspora to continue supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda.
