Political commentator Henry Shield alleges that Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has been begging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to release monies to the state on various occasions, adding that the governor has travelled with some of his family members to Abuja to parley with the president.
The newsmen said the subject of local government funding, tussles with the Federal Government, and the stateβs overall political landscape, would be discussed.
He alleged that Governor Adeleke had approached the president on several occasions to intervene and free up funds allocated to the local government councils in Osun State.
