A podcast interview involving a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has generated significant online reactions after his comments about why Nigerians should re-elect the party in 2027.
The video clip, which has gone viral across social media platforms, showed the host urging the APC supporter to face the camera and make a direct appeal to Nigerians in support of his party.
During the conversation, the interviewer asked him to clearly explain why the APC should remain in power beyond the next general election.
Responding, the guest maintained that the APC had already established a strong base for national development and should be allowed to complete its agenda.
According to him, “Why I think that APC and the Nigerians should vote APC come 2027 is because my party have laid the foundation for this country.”
He compared governance to constructing a building, stressing that everything depends on the strength of the foundation laid at the beginning.
“And that foundation is solid. Foundation must be built upon. When you start up a house, only you knows what you are putting and how solid it was,” he added.
He further argued that the party should be given the chance to complete its plans, saying APC deserves to “finish it to the roofing until Nigeria have a roof over their head.”
