US-Israel-Iran War Ceasefire News Highlights: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived back in Islamabad, according to Iranian state media, as part of ongoing diplomatic efforts linked to the regional conflict, Reuters has reported. His visit comes after his meeting with Sultan of Oman amid stalled negotiations and continued mediation attempts involving Pakistan and other regional players to revive talks and stabilise the situation.

Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said met Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Muscat on Saturday to discuss the ongoing Iran-US war and efforts to reduce tensions in the region, according to Oman’s state news agency. On Saturday, Iranian Foreign Minsiter Abbas Araghchi reached Islamabad and met Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

However, even before the US delegation could land in Pakistan, he left. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has cancelled the visit of envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Araghchi is expected to return to Islamabad after visiting Russia, during his visit for peace negotiations. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi had arrived in Islamabad for a three-country regional tour, what Pakistani mediators described as “cautiously optimistic.”

Earlier, President Trump had ordered the Navy to “shoot and kill” any Iranian boat laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz — a waterway that normally carries 20 per cent of the world’s oil but has seen tanker traffic fall sharply since the war began.

In Lebanon, Hezbollah rejected a fresh ceasefire extension and shot down an Israeli drone, as Israeli strikes continued. Israeli forces carried out fresh strikes across southern Lebanon, with one person killed and three wounded in Qalawiya, according to state media. Follow this page for the latest.
