The Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, CP Kabir Hassan,fdc, has deployed the Command’s operational assets across strategic spots ahead of this year’s Easter celebration.
In a Friday statement signed by SP Suleiman Nguroje, the Adamawa State Police Public Relations Officers, CP Hassan directs that all necessary security measures be put in place to ensure public order, public safety and public security during the Easter celebration.
According to the statement, the deployment is done strategically in places of worship, event centres, Highways, Recreational spots, and other public places.
The statement noted that tactical teams and patrol teams have been positioned across the State to prevent and detect crime, respond immediately to distress calls and address any security concerns.
The CP has directed all Divisional Police Officers, Tactical Commanders and their supervisory Area Commanders to intensify visibility policing, sustain intelligence-led operations, and maintain a high level of alertness throughout the festive period.
The Command Chief further charged officers to remain professional, courteous, respectful and public-friendly when discharging their official responsibilities.
