Ibrahim Abubakar, a vigilante, has stated that soldiers killed NYSC member Abdul Samad Jamiu at his home in Shagari Estate, Dei-Dei, Abuja, and there was no robbery in the area at the time…....
In a video shared by Trust TV, Abubakar said the only time he heard gunshots in the area was when the soldiers fired shot inside Samad’s house. He said one of the soldiers who killed Samada called him and other vigilante members and instructed them to clean the blood of Samad from the scene.
Abubakar stated that they were also told to bury Samad’s brain, which came out of his head when he was shot, in the backyard.
In Abubakar’s words: “There was no attack or robbery, we did not hear any gunshot except the one that came from their house. A soldier called us and told us to clean the blood and they asked us to bury the remains of the brain at the back of the house”
